Student Testimonials
“During my time in the Twin Rivers program, I was able to see, learn, and do so many things I did not think I would get to experience this for many years. The class time prepared me for all that I encountered in my clinicals, which did the same in preparing me to use my certifications. It is a very involved class, but one that carries with it significant benefits. When paired with instructors that care deeply about their students, this was the most rewarding class I took to date. If you have even a slight interest in healthcare, the best thing you could do would be to take this class. Thanks to Twin Rivers, I can be confident in the future I am working towards, and I will forever remember the skills I gained.”

“A few years ago before I enrolled in the Twin Rivers program for CCMA’s (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant), I never would have thought I would be where I am now. The program gave me great insight into what I wanted to pursue as a profession. I am currently a student at USI enrolled in the radiologic technician program while taking pre-med classes in order to attend medical school to become a radiologist. I do all of this while working full time and maintaining a 4.0 GPA and it is all thanks to the instructors I had while in the Twin Rivers program. They taught me most of what I needed to know to get where I am now. I learned all about healthcare including the different types of medical professions, healthcare laws such as HIPAA, bedside patient care, CPR, wound care, and much more. I am very grateful for what this program has taught me. It also allowed me to make a lot of new friends and brought many great people into my life.”

Taking the Twin Rivers Health Science class was the best educational decision of my life in high school! It opened my eyes to so many new healthcare careers and opportunities. I earned my CCMA certification and was allowed the opportunity to do clinicals at a hospital. Through this I experienced what it was truly like to work in the healthcare setting. I was able to interact with patients and help the nurses with various jobs. The class itself requires you to work hard, but the knowledge you gain at the end is so worth it! The teachers are the absolute best and became like family to me. They are always there to help you with anything and treat you with the most kindness!
