Program Description: The Engineering Technology program is designed to prepare you for continuing your education in a bachelor’s degree program in a wide range of engineering specialties including electrical, mechanical, civil, packaging, chemical, and industrial engineering technology. Our program is an intensive two-year education leading to an Associates of Science (A.S.) degree accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

To learn more about our program you can schedule a visit to tour our facilities, meet our faculty and interact with students. Coordinate your visit by contacting Bill Croft, Program Chair, at 812-298-2486 or wcorft1@ivytech.edu

Our Graduates: Graduates of the Engineering Technology program will have two options.  Students will develop the science, technology, engineering and math needed to enter the workforce as an engineering technician, or they can transfer to a four-year engineering technology program.  If you would like to continue your education after completing your Ivy Tech degree, we have several four-year transfer partnerships in place. Talk to your program chair for more information about transfer opportunities!
