Career Cluster:  Manufacturing & Processing

Prepares students to work in the field of welding with emphasis on AWS certification.  Students trained on Oxygen acetylene cutting (OAC) and welding (OAW, Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and plasma arc cutting (PAC).  May take AWS certification exam at end of course.  DOE Code 5776
