Precision Manufacturing

The Precision Manufacturing Program is devoted to the development of the skills necessary for the installation, operation, and maintenance of industrial equipment and systems.  Laboratory applications of classroom studies allows each student to use the tools and instruments associated with the practice of the industrial technology specialty including volt-ohm meters, leak detectors, sonic diagnostic tools, and pressure and level testing devices.  Safety equipment and the safe use of tools and materials are integrated into each course in the curriculum.  Student will gain skills for employment in general machine shops, tool & die shops and large industrial tool rooms   DOE Code 5782
